Senior Product Specialist

Transcend is seeking a Senior Product Specialist who is passionate about working with clients & technology to translate requirements into a product capability. This role will work with the business users and software developers to identify and prioritize technical and functional requirements to create innovative solutions delivering advanced capabilities for financial services, supporting their collateral management, capital management and compliance needs related to global capital markets transactions.

Qualifications & Experience

In addition to the below, a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience is required. To thrive in this role, candidates should have a keen interest in the financial markets.

  • Deep understanding of Capital Markets business & workflow, specifically within Collateral & Liquidity Management
  • Able to take feedback constructively and iterate on ideas and solutions from multiple stakeholders with differing opinions
  • Meticulous thinker who can effectively work out all the details when presented with big ideas
  • A passion for championing innovation
  • Experience working within an agile development process, specifically with Scrum and backlog management tools
  • Understanding of user-centric design
  • Experience with projects, involving front-end applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders; i.e. technical developers, business leaders and users
  • Some technical / programming experience is a plus
  • Detail oriented, demonstrating thoroughness and strong ownership of work
  • Quick learner with a demonstrated strong aptitude for learning new business functionality and understanding how and why the business requires them
  • Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; Good sense of urgency – problem management and escalation


The Sr. Product Specialist will be responsible for driving the design, specifications, resource planning and development of our products to meet the needs of our clients, ensure our competitive differentiation and lead to our business profitability.

Sales Account Executive

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience selling enterprise software into global markets businesses with expertise in fixed income/repo as it relates to collateral, funding and liquidity drivers.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long term relationships.
  • Confident, strategic thinker capable of developing client specific solutions
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage numerous complex client engagements.
  •  Team player driven to achieve new revenue acquisition.


  • Work with broader Transcend team including sales, marketing and product to develop and execute revenue strategy to meet performance targets and company objectives.
  • Pitch and demo Transcend products.
  • Farm and develop prospective sales opportunities.
  • Think creatively to derive client-specific solutions.
  • Work with product and management teams to make sure product evolution generates maximum revenue opportunity.
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of clients by developing strong partner-focused relationships to ensure maximum adoption of Transcend solutions.
  • Prepare and present formal client pricing proposals.
  • Drive software license sales opportunities from origination through to close.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and best practices.
  • Help develop sales best practices, tools and metrics to support rapidly scaling global team.
