Technology Analyst (2024 Analyst Program)

Transcend is seeking an energetic, motivated, hands-on Technology Analyst who is passionate about applying technology to solve complex challenges. This role will be a part of our technology team driving the innovative development of our modular technology solutions delivering advanced capabilities for financial services, and supporting their collateral management, capital management, and compliance needs related to global capital markets transactions. Responsibilities:

Transcend’s Technology Analyst will work with the leads and other developers to develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

  • Develop Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
  • Contribute to the development of our data platform and Analytics projects.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Perform code reviews and testing to ensure the quality of the codebase.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in software development.

Technical Skills 

  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with Caching and Analytical Databases like Elastic Search
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, React is a plus
  • Experience with data analysis and Analytics projects is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS is a plus.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Design, Financial Engineering, Data Analytics or related major with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
  • Strong written and communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact and collaborate with others.

Administrative Assistant / Office Manager

Responsibilities

  • Office management including office space organization & administration, ordering supplies, managing vendor relationships, ensure the functioning of office services.
  • Provide organizational & administrative support for CEO/Founder of firm such as scheduling, calendar management, client meetings, travel arrangements, etc.
  • Event planning and coordination with management team for internal company events, client events as well as sales & marketing conferences.

DevOps Engineer

Transcend is seeking an energetic, experienced, senior Dev Ops person who is passionate about applying technology to solve complex challenges. As Transcend Dev Ops Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of driving a major transformation. We are modernizing our DevOps practice, which includes implementing the latest DevOps philosophies and methodologies. As a part of this modernization effort, the ideal candidate will help train/ mentor the team on best practices within the DevOps space.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technical degrees; or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of DevOps experience including the use of Bitbucket, Git, and cloud-based solutions (AWS) or similar.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in CI/CD methodologies, automation pipelines, workflows, and tools.
  • 5+ years of career experience including software development, systems administration, and cloud-based application management.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure, security, Linux, image hardening, scaling, fail-over, load balancing, etc. Strong experience with monitoring and alerting.
  • Hands-on experience in shell scripting, python, and cron setup.
  • Experience with Dockers, Kubernetes, and Ansible with a focus on Microservices deployment and scalability
  • Experience with automating the installation of various infrastructure services such as Middleware, Databases, etc.
  • Understanding business practices look for vulnerabilities and provides continuous monitoring and testing across all platforms.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Develop and implement automation workflows for infrastructure and application deployment using Ansible and Terraform
