Client Implementations Lead

Job Description:

As an Implementation Lead on the Client Servicing and Implementation Team, you will use your Technical, organizational and management skills to successfully productionize our Transcend software in our Client’s environments. This is a high visibility role within the company which involves coordination with various stakeholders such as Product Specialists, Product Technical Leads, QA Leads and Client’s own Integration team and lead a team of Client Implementation Specialists.

Your day-to-day responsibilities would include:

  • Leading our client implementation technology team to ensure the smooth, efficient delivery of our product across multiple clients.
  • Driving the successful implementation and rollout of Transcend solutions for clients.
  • Understand the technology and integration landscape of client systems and our internal systems and be able to evaluate and recommend improvements.
  • Thorough understanding of Transcend software product and associated technical processes.
  • Liaising between the Client integration team and Transcend leads.
  • Ensuring that policies and guidelines set by the CTO are followed and be in compliant with Client’s engagement policies.
  • Taking ownership of Clients documentation space such as Run Books, Process flows and Release notes.
  • Developing implementation roadmap for clients and scope of releases appropriate for each client
  • Proactively escalating any Client or Internal Transcend implementation issues

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree
  • Multitasking, which requires strong communication and organizational skills.
  • At least 8 years of experience in working in an implementation or production support role, preferably in a Software Product company.
  • At least 2 years of experience working as an implementation or production support lead.
  • Working knowledge of Agile process.
  • Experience with Bug tracking, project planning tools and documentation systems such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Hands on with PL/SQLs and various databases such as Oracle, MSSQL
  • Hands on with Unix scripting and working in a Unix/Linux environment
  • Understanding of Java, Multithreading concepts, and applications developed using Springboot and Microservices.
  • Good understanding of various Middleware technologies such IBM MQ, Active MQ.
  • Experience working in AWS stack, Elasticsearch and Kibana with be a plus

Client Implementations Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Client’s Integration team to install our product in Client’s environments and work on successfully productionizing the software.
  • Work as an SME and find creative solutions to Integration challenges across multiple environments and clients.
  • Understand the technology and integration landscape of client systems and our internal systems and be able to evaluate and recommend improvements.
  • Serve as a client advocate to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the integration and perform timely escalations and follow ups for resolution.
  • Thoroughly understand various Product features and associated technical processes.
  • Be a liaison between the Client integration team and Transcend leads.
  • Deploy the testable versions of Product software in Transcend environments.
  • Assist in configuration and customization of the Product wherever applicable.
  • Assist in documenting and maintaining the Run Books, Process flows and Release notes.

Required Skills:

Infrastructure Specialist / Systems Administrator

Your day-to-day responsibilities are to:

  • Manage and administer both our cloud (Amazon Web Services) and on-premise infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and monitor Linux and Windows servers, workstations and cloud services.  This includes capacity & storage planning/monitoring.
  • Work closely with project teams, DevOps and security to recommend, design and implement infrastructure solutions, tools and processes that are reliable and secure.
  • Assist with day-to-day troubleshooting of servers, workstations and version control system and assist with deployment tasks involving data transfers, servers, networking, storage, operating systems and applications.  This includes running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
  • Configure Windows workstations and install and configure supporting tools on workstations and support users with day-to-day use of workstations and tools.
  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
  • Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

Your day-to-day responsibilities are to:

  • Support the planning, design and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Owners and Software developers execute and validate test cases based upon requirements.
  • Review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are understood and testable
  • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size.
  • Recognize and predict use cases to help test various scenarios based on user requirements
  • Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
  • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
  • Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
