Product Specialist

Transcend is seeking a talented Product Specialist focusing on the Securities Finance & Collateral Management space.  You will work closely with the sales and product group to ensure all functionality & features are properly represented when interacting with clients. This can include giving presentations and product demos of the Transcend suite of solutions. Your role will additionally involve working with clients & technology to translate market color and client feedback into requirements and supporting clients during their implementation. This part of the role will focus on designing impactful solutions that solve industry challenges, providing material economic benefit to our clients. This role is based out of London.  There will be travel within London & possibly some to Europe to meet prospects and clients.

Qualifications & Experience 

The role will require at least 5-7 years of relevant product and/or pre-sales experience. To succeed in this role candidates should have a keen interest in the financial markets, technology, and driving client success.  Below are some additional areas of preferred employment experience:

  • Experience working with a financial organization’s Product, Operations, Treasury, or Collateral Management business
  • Familiarity with Securities Finance, Treasury, Collateral Management, and/or Derivatives
  • Understanding of pre and post-trade workflows.
  • Analytical and consultative approach to client engagements.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and take on multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders; i.e. technical developers, business leaders, and users


  • Understand and speak to Transcend’s suite of software solutions in support of sales presentations and demos.
  • Identify and qualify customers’ business and functional requirements to obtain initial project estimates and identify solution gaps.
  • Support implementation of Transcend’s solution once a contract is signed
  • Build and maintain global Pre-Sales processes, supporting documentation, and materials.
  • Attend and provide coverage at industry events.
  • Recognize and develop use cases to help design intuitive applications.
  • Experience working within an agile development process, specifically with Scrum and backlog management tools
