This person will be responsible for originating license revenues and promoting Transcend to prospects and existing clients. Responsibilities

  • Work with broader Transcend team including sales, marketing, and product to develop and execute strategies to meet revenue targets and company objectives.
  • Pitch and demo Transcend products.
  • Farm and develop prospective sales opportunities.
  • Work with product and management teams to ensure product evolution attracts maximum revenue opportunity.
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of clients by developing strong partner-focused relationships to ensure maximum adoption of Transcend solutions.
  • Prepare and present client pricing proposals.
  • Drive software license sales opportunities from origination through to close.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of sales best practices, tools, and metrics to help growing global team.

Key Qualifications

In addition to the below, a bachelor’s degree with at least 5-10 years of relevant domain and/or enterprise sales experience is required. To thrive in this role, candidates should have a keen interest in the financial markets, technology and driving client success.

Production Support

Job Description

Transcend is seeking an L2/L3 Production Support engineer who is passionate about applying technology to solve complex challenges.  This role will work with the Transcend technology teams and our clients to help investigate & resolve any questions or issues that are raised regarding our platform.  Our software is built using cutting edge technologies and our developers work on a variety of projects designing, building, enhancing and maintaining the code base for our core product (Transcend Software).

Qualifications & Experience 

In addition to the below, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field is required, and 5-7 years of hands-on work experience.

  • 3+ years of strong production support (L3 support) experience or software development experience
  • Working Knowledge in Java, Shell scripting, Linux and SQL
  • Experience in Finance (Banking) domain preferred
  • Experience with Ticketing tools like Jira preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytics skills, with ability to proactively identify issues before they become major problems

Responsibilities: 

  • Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
  • Monitor all alerts and report any issues that may significantly impact the business
  • Monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting problems, providing code fixes and testing
  • Create/develop/utilize application monitoring solutions to enhance application availability and performance in production
  • Conduct root-cause analysis as and when needed and propose corrective action plan
  • Follow an established set of processes while handling issues and for proper escalation of unresolved issues to appropriate internal/external teams
  • Responsible for report, requests (like RFP), Maintaining the SLA (Service Level Agreement) and account payable records

This role will work with the senior software developers to drive the innovative development of our modular technology solutions delivering advanced capabilities for financial services, and supporting their collateral management, capital management, and compliance needs related to global capital markets transactions.  Our software is built using cutting-edge technologies and our developers work on a variety of projects designing, building, enhancing, and maintaining the code base for our core product (Transcend Software).

Qualifications & Experience 

In addition to the below, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field is required, and 5-7 years of hands-on work experience.

  • Technical Skills
    – Strong Core Java concepts
    – Java Server side development experience along with Spring Stack
    – Working knowledge of building effective API(s)
    – Database technologies and SQL query experience (Microsoft SQL server or Oracle database)
    – Java Message Service (JMS) – including point-to-point messaging, message types, message delivery to non-Java clients, etc.
    – Server-side technologies (strong) to build multi-threaded and high throughput – low latency applications

  • Work closely with senior software developers to produce robust core Java code primarily using core Java principles around multi-threading, messaging and caching technologies

DevOps Engineer

Transcend is seeking an energetic, experienced, senior Dev Ops person who is passionate about applying technology to solve complex challenges. As Transcend Dev Ops Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of driving a major transformation. We are modernizing our DevOps practice, which includes implementing the latest DevOps philosophies and methodologies. As a part of this modernization effort, the ideal candidate will help train/ mentor the team on best practices within the DevOps space.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technical degrees; or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of DevOps experience including the use of Bitbucket, Git, and cloud-based solutions (AWS) or similar.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in CI/CD methodologies, automation pipelines, workflows, and tools.
  • 5+ years of career experience including software development, systems administration, and cloud-based application management.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure, security, Linux, image hardening, scaling, fail-over, load balancing, etc. Strong experience with monitoring and alerting.
  • Hands-on experience in shell scripting, python, and cron setup.
  • Experience with Dockers, Kubernetes, and Ansible with a focus on Microservices deployment and scalability

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
