Transcend, a leading provider of analytics, optimization, and automation for collateral, liquidity, and funding has selected Jason Arboreen to accelerate the growth of its prime and securities finance solutions. As a seasoned Business Specialist, Arboreen will help firms optimize collateral usage across business lines to both maximize value and overcome the complex challenges of today’s unique financial infrastructure.
Arboreen joins Transcend’s US team with over 20 years of financial industry expertise. An accomplished Product Development leader, Arboreen most recently served as Executive Director at JP Morgan where he held many roles within the Equity Finance and Securities Services lines of businesses.
“Jason brings a strong combination of prime services and securities finance expertise to Transcend,” said Bimal Kadikar, CEO, Transcend. “As we round out our team of practiced financial services professionals, we are thrilled to have Jason onboard and leading product innovation for prime and securities finance businesses.”
During his time at JP Morgan, Arboreen led an effort to measure and control the intraday liquidity and exposure of trade settlements and cash wires. He also successfully delivered Asset Based Financing and a Profit and Loss workflow tool for the Prime Services business. Prior to his time at JPM, Arboreen held positions at UBS and Goldman Sachs where he implemented several Arranged Financing, Portfolio Accounting and Performance Measurement products.
“An inefficient use of collateral is simply no longer acceptable given the significant pressure that financial firms are under to reduce balance sheet usage,” said Arboreen. “I look forward to accelerating the optimization of collateral usage and driving tangible value for Transcend’s clients.”
Transcend has taken clear steps to strengthen its team this summer with the addition of several capital markets veterans based in New York and London. Most recently, Transcend announced the addition of Patrick Tessier to drive the development of CCP Central.
